Mountain Ash Gum.  One of the tallest hardwood species in the world. Great farm forestry species with excellent growth and form, producing good timber. The timber is used for furniture, flooring and general construction. Likes cool, moist, well-drained soils. Intolerant of wind and salt. White flowers from December-May. Evergreen. Frost hardy.
