Lauris nobilis (Bay Tree)

The glossy green, aromatic foliage of this shrub is used as an edible herb. Fragrant yellow flowers in spring are followed by small black fruit. Suitable for hedging and topiary. Fine on coastal sites. Frost tender when young.
