Metrosideros excelsa (Pohutukawa)

Bold specimen tree.  Can be used for shelter, hedging and coastal revegetation.  Brush like bright crimson red flowers in Summer attract NZ native birds like Tui.

Hardy to wind and coastal conditions.  Frost tender when young.
