Carex flagellifera Red

This native New Zealand is the Red variety of Carex flagellifera. Slender copper-red and some green leaves. Beautiful aesthetic when landscaped to contrast with other varieties of grasses or ground cover. The best colour can be achieved by planting in sunny well drained soil. Best colour is achieved when planted in full sun. Hardy. Tolerates reasonable moisture, dry, coastal and windy conditions. Frost tolerant.
