Shining Gum.  Excellent shelter and firewood species. Large blue-green juvenile foliage matures to longer, darker leaves. Very fast growth rate. Grows well in exposed, windy situations. Salt, wind, frost and snow tolerant. Also tolerates dry, (but not drought prone) and wet but not waterlogged soils. White flowers Jan- March. Coppices, but may be unreliable. Can grow to 45m.
