Beautiful rich green foliage which turns pink, gold, and reddish-brown in autumn. Beautiful red-brown bark darkens with age.  It requires a sheltered, moist site.  Fast-growing in ideal conditions. Will grow in standing water.  Deciduous. Cold hardy.
